cause/effect essay

The Uprising in the U.A.E

Do you think United Arab Emirates will have a revolution against the government or the president? If not, why not? Most neighbor countries of the United Arab Emirates have revolted against their president or the government, and people think the U.A.E will have an uprising, too. However, from my viewpoint, the United Arab Emirates will not have an uprising for several reasons.
The first striking reason is the president. Since he is one of the honest, he does what he promises the country. For instance, last year, he promised people who live in the north part of the U.A.E, which is the poorest region of houses and public services in the country, to build new houses, hospitals, and schools, and to develop transportation. This was very kind of him to take care of all of these issues. People there loved this. It made them feel comfortable and without worry about their lives. Without his honesty, people would suffer from poverty.
Also, the president is very ascetic and modest. He lives as one of the people in his society and without being like a president with people. For example, one day, I have seen him in a mall only with his friend. He was walking without any kind of security. Actually, the president said that people who live in his society are his security. I was so amazed to see him walking and shopping like normal people do. Everyone is proud of this act from the president.
The final cause is the government in our society. They are doing what will develop people’s lives, and also what will make people be happy with what the government will do. For example, the government gives students the opportunity to study abroad every year until they get a master’s degree, if they want. Therefore, the government guarantees lucrative jobs for students after they finish their studies. That obviously helps students to trust the government. Students are rushing to help and develop the government. If the government was not offering help to students, the unemployment rate would go up and they would fight against the government.
Moreover, the government has a program, which helps people who do not want to continue studying after high school by helping them to make their own business. This program gives a small budget to anyone who wants to make his own business. However, the government measures the budget for the project. I think the government has a good strategy to develop our country and to make people feel happy and comfortable. People like these ideas from the government, and they are rushing to participate.
All in all, the president and the government are the obvious reasons why there is no occurring of revolution. In my opinion, United Arab Emirates will not have an uprising against the president in the future. After all, we have an amazing, honest president and a very special government.

compare and contrast essay

Soccer Vs. the American Football

Are the American football and soccer same? Do they have same rules? These sports are the most popular sports in the world. In fact, people think they are not same. However, people have different background about these sports. There are some similarities and differences between the American football and soccer.
The first obviously similar between the American football and soccer is both of them are considered outdoors sports. They are being played at field with rectangle shape of grass. Not only the American football, but also soccer has being played between two teams, also each team has to have eleven players on the field, and each team is wearing special uniforms. Both sports have full contact and harmony between the players. Players have to contact and passing each other until they score goals as much as they can. And each team has to passing and running until they the last position of against field. The American football has one goal for each team whereas, soccer has. Both soccer and the American football have offensive players, defensive players, and one goalkeeper. Not only soccer, but also the American football has strategy to play.
The first striking difference is the goal in soccer is ground goal. Conversely, the goal in the American football is hanging in the air. So that is mean scoring in the American football is much harder than scoring in soccer. American football players must wear helmet and body protectors, however, soccer is illegal to wear these. The most striking difference between the American football and soccer is the way to pass the ball. Soccer players must pass the ball by their legs, and passing by hand is not allowed for them except the goalkeeper. He can touch it with his hand only in his area. Unlike soccer, the American football players can pass the ball whatever they want, by hands or legs. The referees in both sports are quite distinct. Soccer should have five referees, one for the area, two for the offside, and the last two is outside and carefully watching the match. Scoring in the American football has three rules. One score has six points, other has three points, and the last has two points. However, soccer has one rule, which is one goal equal one point.
All in all, even though soccer and the American football have differences, they have similarities. These differences make these sports have their own name and we cannot make them one sport.

freedom essay

A New Beginning for the Middle East!

Now a day, some people in the Middle East are fighting against the president or the government for democracy in their countries. What does democracy mean for these people? Democracy is freedom for them. From my viewpoint, they are right, and I will explain what they are doing for freedom.
First of all, people are fighting for democracy. For example, in Egypt, people pulled their president down because he was harming the democracy. They are right to do that for freedom, which is the democracy. Everyone got mad because of his authoritarian to control over the country. As a result, people ousted him from his place as president.
Second, people are fighting their governments for freedom. For instance, in Tunisia, there was a guy who was selling some fruits and vegetables by cart on the streets. After all, the government did not give him a place to sell, and he needed to sell and get some money to buy his mother’s medicine. After that, the government arrested him because he did not have a certificate to sell fruits and vegetables. He got so mad. He caught himself on fire and died because he was so sick of the government. As a result, this event raised chaos, which led to a revolution against the authoritarian government. Now, Tunisia has gained democracy and freedom.
Little by little, democracy in spreading throughout the Middle East. Authoritarian leaders are being kicked of the Middle East. I have never thought I would witness so much change. This is a new beginning for the development in the Middle East.
